Set in the 1950s, I thought the author threw in so many tidbits of historical facts. Peppered with information comes to mind or everything but the kitchen sink. It was distracting from the flow of the story. Yet, I am glad I prevailed in finishing the novel as I enjoyed it. Suspenseful political thriller.
