That she did this at her age, on an unattended trail, depending on the goodwill of strangers and not in the best physical condition lets me believe that so mush more is possible than we give ourselves credit for. Definitely worth the read.
This is a very inspiring book about Emma Gatewood who walked the Appalachian Trail when she was 67 years old. She helped to bring attention to the trail and was instrumental in having improvements made to make the trail better.
