We really enjoyed discussing the elements of this book. With a diverse mix of Christians (Protestant and Catholic) and agnostics, we had an entertaining discussion regarding faith, religious foundation and spirituality. I don't think anyone in our group with strong spiritual beliefs prior to reading this book ended up changing their viewpoints, but those who were unsure were motivated to find out more.

This book's discussion lead to a real incite into each book club member's beliefs and gave each of us new ideas to consider and reflect upon. I was concerned that the book would cause much disagreement between members but instead it lead to one of the most openminded and interesting discussions we had ever had during book club.

Without a doubt One of my new favorite books. There were so many things to discuss. All the different views lend to a great discussion and debates.

This is definately a book to stir questions in your mind. Though not as good as Angels and Demons, it is wonderfully written and perfect for discussion.

I finally broke down and read it, thinking there had to be something there, if it was so popular. Unfortunately, I could not buy the idea of who the real villain was, and Brown's calculatedly suspenseful style (a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter) was irritating.

This book is awesome and even if you have seen the movie read it. The book is soooo much better. It is a fast paced book with surprises around every corner. I will say the book is very close to the movie which is good.
