Well crafted and gripping version of Kennedy's Presidency and the events leading up to his assassination. I couldn't put it down!

If you are looking for conspiracy theories about the Kennedy assassination or salacious details about Kennedy's life this probably isn't the book for you. The author himself said on many occasions only facts that could be substantiated were included in this book so there are no big revelations - if that's what you are looking for. I was in elementary school when John Kennedy was elected and this happened. It was an interesting look back at the events leading up to and the assassination. The part about the actual killing itself and the ride to the hospital was quite riveting for me. I hate to keep repeating myself - half stars needed. I give this a 3 1/2.(less)

Very informative book, easy read and insightful into the Kennedy years in the White House.

Interesting review of information surrounding the event. Additional information about various characters encouraged discussion about previous and present perceptions of the event. Everyone gained some information that was found to be interesting. All enjoyed the book.
