"Fascinating biography of Alexander Dumas\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' father" by sarasikes (see profile) 04/08/14

Great read for those interested in cultural and racial history. I had no idea that the author of The Three Musketeers was biracial himself. His father, \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"The Black Count\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" was a real swashbuckler! All of the blacks living in France and her colonies were liberated after the revolution but then enslaved again by Napolean\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s order a few years later.
