We felt the title was very misleading as only one of the essays/articles dealt with marriage. It was merely a compilation of formerly published writings and speeches featured in magazines, graduations, etc. Writers may find this book helpful, but our group had difficulty relating to the writer and the topics. She came across as self-important and defensive, which the group found annoying and pretentious.
