We received this book for our club. Seldom do we all love a book, but we agreed on this one. Although there is a little bit of "willing suspension of disbelief" needed, the characters were alive and well written. We became invested in each person's story. Plus we all felt we learned a lot about how to treat others, especially veterans. All in all a very worthwhile read.
