our book clubs members found the book very confusing. Each chapter was a different time in her life which is fine, except it was not in chronological order one minute she was 8 years old the next 32 the next 17 and so on. As you would start to get interested in a chapter it would suddenly change to another time and place.

The book was well written but very confusing to all the book club members - too many characters - confusing timeline, etc.
