I had a hard time putting the book down. Living in southern California, I could see the story settings vividly. It was really engrossing and I would put her novel up against any of the crime/mystery novels out on there.
I just got the Kirkus newsletter and saw that she received the Kirkus Star for the book. Way to go! I know that it is the first novel in the series and I CANNOT wait for the next book to come out.
