I don't think that the trilogy is a good idea for a book club, but be warned - if you decide to read the first one, you will probably read them all. These books are what I like to call "trashy speed reads" because you can't put them down, like a poorly written but still suspenseful Harry Potter or the Sookie Stackhouse Noves. Just one book makes a transatlantic flight go by in no time! However, they are no great works of literature, and therefore I think I might steer away from them at a book club.

I loved these books! I was drawn to the main character. It had such an interesting setting and concept. It had adventure and love. They were all quick reads. I can't wait to see the movie!

A quick read, but there was plenty to discuss.
