This was a beautifully written book. Each chapter is written from a different characters point of view, and each one twined into the one before to weave interesting and surprising characters. The wonderful writing made the book easy to read but the actual story was a bit disappointing. While there were unexpected twists throughout we all felt that the story could have been so much more than it was. Overall well worth reading if only to enjoy the atmosphere.
