"Zafon Does NOT Disappoint" by zodejodie4 (see profile) 12/14/13

4 1/2 stars. Zafon does not disappoint in this 3rd in the series of the Cemetery of Forgotten Books. His narrative is always eloquent & witty, his characters richly drawn & the stories so engaging. This story may well be the darkest of the 3, however that doesn't detract for it at all. I particularly love the way that Zafon weaves common elements throughout his stories so seamlessly. It's always a wonderful journey reading a Zafon story.

"The Prisoner of Heaven" by debaparker (see profile) 12/28/13

It is not necessary to have read Zafron's two previous books in this group called the Cemetary of Forgotten Books, as they stand alone. However, the mystery and intrigue are so addictive that I stopped reading when I had 10 more pages to go because I didn't want the story to end. It doesn't really end as there is plenty yet for Zafron to put into another novel. You will love the characters Daniel and Fermin. You will exclaim aloud at the twists and turns in this novel Happy reading!
