We (with one man) thought that the book was better than a regular romance. Yes, it did have some romance but it was the story of 2 separate persons coming to grips with their life. It is told through knitting terms and textiles.
Enjoyed this read about relationships and moving on set in Ireland - with a backdrop of knitting and the meaning of different stitches within Irish sweaters. Sad at times but overall a good and likeable read.
We had a great discussion at book club. The book easily draws you in and enjoyable to read. We enjoyed the closure at the end of the book. Our club gave it a 8 out of 10.
