"Happiness... all in your perspective!!" by crasnick (see profile) 05/01/07

This novel offers many serious life topics for discussion. So, if your group likes to share... this one may be for you. Reads slow at times; that is, until you get to the last 100 pages. Oprah's website has discussion questions available.

"Interesting" by ssarnataro (see profile) 12/04/07

This book grabs whatever perspectives you might have and toys with them. I agree that this book will be a good discussion book for clubs. While the story drags slightly at times, it is a very good read. I was so surprised to find that this was written by a man.

I read this book years ago, but it still sticks with me today. A great read.

"Couldn't put it down." by trish8794 (see profile) 08/23/10

I went into this book thinking it was going to be slow and hard to dive into. That's what I get for judging a book by the cover. I couldn't put it down and found myself sneeking off to read a chapter, a page, a paragraph..... I just had to find out what was going to happen.

"slow moving depression" by ohforsure (see profile) 01/01/11

this book goes on and on and the protagonist rarely moves forward. not worth the effort.

"Rather Depressing" by dlmangold (see profile) 03/01/11

I've been told my many people this is a good book and a must read but maybe I didn't get it. Nothing about the book was earth shattering. It was rather depressing and thought the main character was too self endulged. I'm not like that and have a hard time relating to people who are. I give her kudo's for being a survivor but not sure how realistic her life really is.

"So glad I read!" by TLGridley (see profile) 03/26/12

"Good for discussions" by KimReid (see profile) 04/16/12

The book reads well and has good topics for book club discussions. However, I didn't like reading about all the negatives.

"Depressing" by nursejenn2000 (see profile) 09/14/13

I found this book hard to read and depressing.
