There are two stories in one book. The author weaved two separate stories into one title with the common thread being the train to and from London. Well written but found the stories and characters boring. A lot of character development was missing and too much description on pointless topics. Majority of our club felt it was a boring & pointless but quick read.

It wasn't that I disliked the book. As a group we certainly had an interesting discussion regarding character motivation, but I personally wasn't satisfied with how the character conflicts were resolved. Having said that, it was a nice piece of writing and I might consider reading more of Ms. Hadley's work, but this book was a bit confusing and, as I've said, left me unsatisfied.
