When I started the book I expected it to be about a wife and spousal abuse, while that was included it was not the main focus. It surprised me in the direction it tok. I also did not realize it was based on a true story, that made it even more interesting. The best was the author was a friend of one of our members sister, and we talked with the night of our meeting. It was great to know the real facts and where she changed a few things and shoe the real people were. We loved this this book and I found it a very good read.
