This is nothing I would have picked up on my own, but through the Book Movement book drawings I was very happy to receive a copy. I found the story of the O'Connor family very heartfelt and beautiful. I related to the characters and wanted them to see them find success during their journey. I wanted to be able to step into their living room and provide comfort when they were in need. I really appreciate the author showing the Native American traditions and heritage of the characters. I think this is a great story of a father helping his son to become a man and to never give up when he is passionate about something. Overall, I think the book was very well written, pleasant to read, and well paced.
