The details of a child's visit to heaven told by his father.

"Waste of a book" by frogerella (see profile) 12/19/11

From a skeptics point of view, definitely not convincing. From a Christian point of view, you'll get what you want from it. From my point of view, a waste of a book. If you've never read an inspirational book, you might get a little pick me up from it. Otherwise, there are many, many more inspiring books that you could use your time reading than this one. I'd skip this and recommend reading 90 minutes in Heaven.

I enjoyed this book very much. I took it for what it is, an incredible story about an event that occurred in a little boy's life as interpreted by his family. I enjoyed hearing about the boy's visit to Heaven and the beautiful picture that he paints. I also enjoyed the comparisons of those events to scripture and found myself learning a few things I didn't know. I choose to believe because that works for me and because, someday far into the future, I hope to go there too. Beautiful.

"Quick Read but unconvincing" by lucindy (see profile) 01/18/12

It didn't convince me that it was a true story - too much sermonizing

"Interesting Enough" by Jess72180 (see profile) 01/28/12

I felt the story was slow to start but after about page 60 or so it was an easy read. I do not know if I can completely believe the little boy, Colton's experience but there were some thought provoking aspects to it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it but if is the suggested book of your group it is worth the read. If you are looking for a book that will introduce questions about religion, personal beliefs and Heaven than this is a book you are looking for.

"I wanted to like it" by TLC (see profile) 02/19/12

I really did want to like this book. Unfortunately, with as much as I as a Christian love reading about Heaven, I can't find anything positive to say about it. There are much better options out there to read.

The parents are driving on a trip when the 3 year old blurts out he has seen Jesus when he was in the hospital in the spring. He is oblivious to the fact that this is not an everyday experience and, in fact, is an extraordinary occurance. His father is a minister, doesn't let on how unusual this is as he trys to uncover if this is indeed a true story. Many more facts come out as time goes on to realize this truly is a real life experience. Fascinating!

It is a sweet story, but I think it is written in a way that made me think that it was written to convince people instead of inspire them.

"Inspiring story" by clpurser1972 (see profile) 04/20/12

Loved this story, but there was a lot of info in the book that was not necessary. I just wanted to get to the nitty-gritty of the boy's account of heaven. I understand why the dad wrote it this way, but felt like some of it was just "filler" to make a long-enough book.
