This was a fast, easy read, good for summer when you don't have the time or inclination to wade through something heavier. It takes place in rural Lousiana after vampires have "come out" into mainstream society and is told through the eyes of a pretty, sensitive waitress (with a secret of her own) who falls in love with one of them. I liked the book for its humor.
