It’s giving silent patient with the flash backs, but they are well timed. The plot twist is pleasantly unexpected. Gets interesting starting chapter 56 on. Previous chapters are great at leading you down different directions and offering up different theories.

The female protagonist made me want to rip my eyes and ears out and force feed it to my worst enemy very slowly. The amount of stupidity was flabbergasting. Points given for the plot twist that I thought I saw coming but didn’t quite.

Overall enjoyed it. Basically, a who-dun-it theme. I liked that there were plenty of possible suspects, and though they were some obvious red herrings, it was fun to have obvious contenders, but doubt yourself from time to time. As far as Sydney, the lead, she loves her some red flags or is just plain dumb/aggravating, but I guess that adds to the reading. Makes you want to see how far Syndey will make it.
