"Wonderful historical book" by greenwave (see profile) 11/12/08

We thought this book was one of our favorites. It was such an in depth description of the historic voyage and survival of the passengers and crew on board the boats going to Canada during WWI carrying so many of England's children escaping the ravages of the German bombs. We would recommend it for any book club and it would also be a good book of study for College students.

"Apart of World War 11 history I did not know about" by nhuckaba (see profile) 11/15/08

This is a true story. Also most of the characters in the book were alive when the book was written, so the author included what the characters did with their lives after their attack by the sub. It is worth reading.
