The book was a page turner for sure! It's important to remember this takes place in the late 80s - early 90s in the south before judging the actions of the characters. Even so, it was hard not to be frustrated with the women. I liked the ending. Overall a good read.

I’ve definitely read much better vampire stories. I found the wives willingness to be controlled by their husbands over the top and annoying.
