This book was super addictive! I had a hard time telling myself to put it down and ended up finishing it within a few days despite my best efforts. “Sadie” by Courtney Summers was unexpectedly dark but still a great story. Courtney brings to light what the reality is for some people and the horrors of what people experience. She switches between Sadies point of view and a radio broadcaster’s who follows behind Sadies adventure. Both points of view bring different perspectives and details that help fill in the blanks of each other’s recollection of what happened. This book did not have a Disney princess ending but I think how it ended was fitting for the story and the authors objective.

This book was really good, there was an exciting storyline that kept the reader engaged and shocked at moments. Definitely an addictive book, which is a sign of a good book!
