This is not a Pulitzer Prize winning book but I did enjoy it. I found it interesting learning about "cracker society". I grew up in the North East and have lived in Gainesville, Fl and Tallahassee, Fl. I even took a vacation to Apalachacola area so it was interesting to read about this area. I think it is worth reading.
This book had a great start, but kind of lost me towards the end. Felt like some of the intriguing parts were too neatly and quickly wrapped up, with not many \\\"ah-ha\\\" moments.
On another note, the author is awesome! Reached out to her through Facebook because we did have a lot of fun for this book club meeting and we tied the book into the experience in many ways. Would love to meet her at a book signing some day.
