I'd never heard of this book until my friend loaned it to me. I didn't know what to expect, but it didn't really sound like my cup of tea. I try and keep an open mind with books so I gave it a read. It didn't take too many chapters until I was totally hooked. I haven't read a true adventure like that in a long while. It was well written, face paced, easy to read, and it had me laughing out loud several times. The cast of characters was terrific, my favorite being the author's sidekick - Hank, he's quite an amazing dog. I would highly recommend this book, but just be forewarned that it does contain a bit of swearing and a couple of salty situations.
A great read. But be aware that there's a bit of salty language and a few gritty scenes, but if you're not a prude you'll love it. It's funny, scary, touching, and real fast paced. It won't be what your expecting, that's for sure.
