Carrie Fisher captures the experience of drug use, treatment and Hollywood. Carrie uses her voice to give insight into important topics. She will be greatly missed. Her wit makes this book a must read.

I did not like the book at all. It was very hard to fillow, confusing, jumped all around the place. It was a waste of $17.00 since I did not have an iphone i could not download it on my kindle. There was no story. Just a jumbled mess.

The first third of the book does give the reader some insight into the mind of the addict, but the required disjointedness makes it difficult to read. The second third is repetitive. Many of our members skipped it. The last third reads easily and does give some relief from the heaviness of the topic.
