I love Michael Chabon's writing and this book is no exception. Although sold as a novel, this is a remembrance of his grandfather, who was quite a character. Great insight to the times of and after World War II. Although some in our book club didn't like the way it flipped between the past and current, I found that it held my attention and concentration. I recommend this book as it led to some lively discussion.
