"Self discovery in the 1930’s India" by lpollinger (see profile) 07/30/25

Sona is a nurse in India when Mira Novak is admitted after suffering a miscarriage. Mira is a well known artist. An unlikely friendship is formed between the two women. Mira dies suddenly and now Sona’s job is in jeopardy. A cryptic note is left for her as well has four paintings. Hopefully these will prove Sona’s innocence.

This is not as good as the Henna Artist, but nonetheless an interesting story.
