Esme Nash is on the cusp of starting her adult life. Upon graduating from College her plan is to move to NYC and work in an art gallery. Then the u thinkable happens. There is a horrific car crash in which her mother dies and her father become paralyzed and he refuses to speak, Esme puts her life on hold for the next seven years to care for her father. After his death she takes a month long job dog sitting in NYC. While there she hopes to find her former boyfriend and perhaps reconnect the life they wanted seven years ago.
This is a cute story with some humor to it. A nice summer, beach read.
