I preferred his other masterpiece, One Hundred Years of Solitude. This is also a magical novel and I did enjoy it.

Not one member in our club liked this book. Half of the people didn't even finish it (one person only read 10 pages). It did provide a lively discussion though as there were so many disturbing things about this book.
