This is the story of a man born in a North Korean political prison Camp (14). He is the only known political prisoner, born in a political prisoners camp, to have escaped a death camp and to have survived. What is life like in a camp like this? Why is he born and raised there? How is he and others there conditioned or cultural brain washed into accepting their position and conditions. What is life like in North Korea for the people and those who are considered the hostile class? What do you know about North Korea and what do you know about their prison camps? The answers to these questions and much more will be covered in this book. Those who have read this book in our book club have all said they had never heard about how severe conditions are in North Korea and/or about the fact that these prison camps exist (which North Korea claims don't exist, yet can be seen on Goggle maps).
