I think I recall hearing that the survivor in this true account hired an acquaintance to write this book...that was a HUGE mistake! I saw the survivor, who is now a grown woman, interviewed on the Today show and her interview was so intriguing that our club decided to read the book. It reads as though it was written by a slacker who could not be bothered to find (or take the advice of) an editor! This could have, and should have, been better written!
