This is one of those rare books that everyone, well, read for one, but also enjoyed. Each member seemed to identify with at least one character, their relationships and predicaments. Jorgenson's book is at times heart warming and at others gut-wrenching; it made me laugh out loud and even shed a few tears. The aspect of the book that I really enjoyed the most was the relationship between the main character and his best friend. It is so unique to see such a relationship written so brilliantly from a man's perspective - I feel like it gave me a better understanding of male friendship.

Our book club truly enjoyed reading this book. Several of our husbands read and discussed it with us as some are duck hunters. They could relate to Grant and Will\\\'s love of the sport and outdoors as well as their little boy antics...we all laughed hysterically at those. While funny in some ways, it was also a bittersweet story of love, loss and redemption. We are all waiting for white horses at some point in our lives. Several of our members are in healthcare, so the medical and government bureaucracy in the story hit a nerve. We would highly recommend this book as an enjoyable read that lends itself to a lively discussion.

This is a wonderful read for both men and women. The characters were very believable and easy to relate to. We had a wonderful book club discussion around this book.
