Adventurous, Interesting, Informative
Although it was fiction, the story and the characters were very realistic.This book was a page-turner because the reader can identify with each character and care about their outcomes.

An amazing true story of heroism during the Korean Conflict
I knew very little about the Korean Conflict and the conditions that were endured by the soldiers in 1950. In this book the authors make you feel like you are there and know the soldiers. How these courageous Marines were able to hold off 100,000 Chinese soldiers in horrific weather conditions in North Korea is truly an incredible story.
