Destiny of the Republic

Very insightful reading that Pres. Garfield could have lived had the medical care been better. I felt the Doctor (s) involved were more interested in their own opinions and unwilling to listen to other alternatives.l

The end of Your Life Book Club

My daughter and I read this book together as she was in the final stages of her cancer. We felt there was so much in common with what was happening in both our lives. We did like the book...it was insightful and brought comfort and peace.

The First Phone Call From Heaven

We had a good discussion about afterlife and how each of us would react to a phone call from a loved one that had passed on. We also talked about the implications of the city where we live.

These Is My Words

This was such an interesting book as many of our members had ancestors that experienced similar lives. It was a fictional novel that was woven around real life happenings. We are all looking forward to read the sequels.

The Island

We had a lively discussion about lepers and the way they were treated because of the unknown. We branched beyond the book to learn more as a group and individuals. Everyone liked the book very much.
