This book was a complete surprise to me. I hadn't even read a book jacket so I no idea what it was about. While some may think it is dark and depressing, which it is to an extent; I found it realistic yet ethereal. There is a lot of hope in these dark pages. The writing style is different. It is unique. I really loved this book!
