This book is beautiful. However, it is very different than what you might expect. Read it with an open mind.

This is a beautiful love story ... not a trashy romance, but a story about a great love. Jacob loves both Marlena and the circus ... as well as many animals. This was a great book!

First of all, I'm not a young adult. Secondly, I never read vampire stories or anything in the "fantasy" genre. However, my 17-year-old sister recommended this book to me and I thought I'd try it. I loved it! I've added the next two in the series to my list. I think I liked it so much because the point of the story isn't the fact that the character is a vampire, but it's about the relationships involved. The bookflap says it well. "This is a love story with bite."

I loved Twilight and I loved New Moon! The references to Romeo and Juliet were fabulous. I'm not usually a fan of vampire and fantasy stories, but this book was a great read. I would encourage others to read and discuss this book!

I've said before that I didn't think I would be a fan of this series, but I am. I have throroughly enjoyed reading all of them.

I love all of the Stephanie Plum novels. This wasn't my favorite, but it's still good. I read it in a day! It's only a between-the-numbers novel, so that would probably explain why it's not my favorite.
