Insightful, Interesting, Fun
Good for a discussion

This memoir gives plenty of food for thought and discussion. While not everyone in my book club is in the same place as the author Anna Quindlen, but we all have experienced some of the life events and crossroads she relays in her book. It is thought provoking and worth the read.

The Year of the Gadfly by Jennifer Miller

It was a mixed bag on this book amongst our members. No one disliked it, but some felt they could not relate to the book. I really enjoyed it- finding it difficult to put down. Our club had a Skype session with the author which was fun and informative. Everyone loved speaking with Jennifer about her characters and the writing process for Gadfly.
