Brilliant, Epic, Fantastic
Lyra is an amazing character and the book has interesting things to say about religion and the nature of the soul.

 
Dramatic, Interesting, Beautiful
This was a fast paced read.

This book has sympathetic characters and an interesting plot. It gets tied up in the end a little too neatly, but that doesn't stop you enjoying it while you read.

 
Dramatic, Graphic, Dark
This book has a lot to discuss although I would recommend using an annotated version. The humor is lost when you don't understand the references.

quick read, but full of interesting questions about race, education, and adolescence

 
This book makes you think about the financial decisions that you make every day. We all think that we make those decisions thoughtfully and rationally. Mr. Ariely proves that we don't.
