My Reviews

Dramatic, Interesting, Insightful
Broken Harbour

I loved all of Tana French's previous novels. While this was well written, I found it disappointing. Compared to her other novels, the pace of not wanting to put it down was not there and the story was a little slow. Well I suppose you can't have one without the other. I had an expectation going in that wasn't met. I have recommended her other books numerous times as being wonderful, outstanding, and must reads. I cannot say this about her latest novel, it was only average for me.

I must say this was so enjoyable, I've now read almost all of his other books. I just loved this. It was extremely well written and absorbing. I highly recommend this and his other's I've read.

You do have to stick with it. It is hard to explain if one hasn't read it. But I suppose it might be good for discussion because of that. Yes, very imaginative.
