This was a beautifully written account of how devastating it can be when we make decisions that we know in our hearts are wrong. Our book club debated the issue at the core of this story -- and while we basically agreed that Tom and Isabel made a bad decision -- I think the author ably captured the strong emotions in play among all the characters. I really loved this book.
