A totally magical tale with beautiful descriptions.....I could taste & feel every page! Lovedthis book!
While I liked the book & it kept my interest... I kind of feel indifferent @ the end. Maybe because of all the hype I keep hearing about the book and the movie....maybe it was built up too much & I feel let down. While I gave it a 4 ....maybe 3.5 would be more in line w/ how I feel. Hmmmm maybe it'll grow on me...
Loved this book! This book has everything, from historic details to gripping events that will make you shudder! A truly inspiring ending!
Dark, graphic & gritty. What real life can be like in a small town behind closed doors. Things are not always what they seem ....
A great cautionary tale of where we could be headed if we don't respect privacy & free will. Great symbolism. Anybody or anything held captive both physically or virtually will not act true to their inner being.
As the main character gets more & more emursed in her job she becomes easy prey to this "cult like" atmosphere. Very chilling & reality based.........

Powerful book on compassion & second chances. Not to be missed. Made me think real hard about my views on the death penalty. Am going to read "Go Set a Watchman" next as I think the two books read one after the next would make for a great book group discussion.
