My Reviews
Was't sure I would like this book, but from the first page it kept me reading! Loved it!
I couldn't believe what I was reading, but this was one of my favourite books ever! We always hear about what went on in Germany, but very seldom about Japan! A remarkable story! Loved it, and couldn't put it down:)
This book was amazing! Opened my eyes to all sorts of things going on in our world. Abuse doesn't have to always be physical, mental does a great job, especially on this very gifted brilliant girl.
Not going to describe much more, but definitely a good read:)
I don't know if everyone does this, but when I read a book that I like, I then check out the rest of the author's books. Was disappointed when I found out that 'The Help' was Kathryn Stockett's first novel, because I absolutely loved it. I read Cathy Glass's book Run Mummy Run and decided to read on! Turns out Cathy is a foster mother in England, and she has written this book about the 'worst' of the worst! Unbelievable how people abuse children and expect them to remain normal.
All I can say, is thank heaven there are people like Cathy and her kids in the world.
A must read!
