The book was quite educational. I learned a lot about the Brazilian jungle. It was quite different from anything I've read recently.

If you want to learn about how the diplomatic corps works (or doesn't) read this. I lived in Nuremburg for a year right after the second world war, so this was especially interesting to me

So well written. The story grabs you and doesn't let go. This author weaves his story together brilliantly.
