A fun discussion for all members

This book led to an interesting discussion which included a variety of topics from what we remembered about circuses as children to nursing home conditions. Everyone seemed to get in on the discussion. Plus we had circus food for a snack!! Who could ask for more.

Cage of Stars by Jacquelyn Mitchard
 
A young girl is witness to the murder of her 2 younger sisters. The books shows how she and each of her Mormon family members deals with this tragedy.

We agreed that this book was a good read and gave us a chance to examine how forgiveness or lack of it enters into our lives. After the extremely sad and wrenching beginning the story gave way to a good tale.
