We just had our bookclub a few nights ago and the author called in. Doreen was witty and thoughtful, answered all of our questions. Such a unique experience to discuss a book with the author herself. She was even able to suggest other authors who do this, and we're going to check out their books.

Really, one of our best book clubs ever, and that doesn't even count the martinis!
