Altough lenghty, WWE gave the reader time to feel the true power struggles of church and state, men and women, noble and peasant.

Informative, Dramatic, Insightful
A haunting story beautifully written.

A Thousand Splendid Suns is a very sad story but is written very well and grabs your interest from the start. I did suspect the ending early on, but that did not really take away from the book.
