Interesting premise but confusing at times.

Confusing at times. Interesting non-predictable premise. Couldn't completely understand exactly what was going on with protagonist.

 
Insightful, Epic, Informative
Great book. A classic that's truly a page turner.

If you want to read a great story and, at the same time, learn about Chinese society in the era of the last emperor, this book is for you.

It has many messages that are relevant in today's world...

I don't want to give anything away. If you missed it in high school it's a must. Even if you read it years ago it pays to re-read it.
