Starts a little slowly but a wonderful read.
What an amazing book! It was very difficult to put down - beautifully writen and true to the time. Heartbreaking.
One of my favorite books of all time! John Steinbeck is a master of story telling!
This book was hard to put down - I stayed up late into the night to finish chapters.

Starts slowly but get's more additive as you read - hard to put down toward the end.
What a difference from another book I read of Patchett's. This one was sooo slow and didn't really have a point to it. I read about 40 pages before I stopped reading.
I have read this book at least 3 times!
