My Reviews

Interesting, Informative, Optimistic
Personable, humourous, intellectual, and adventurous portrayl of Poitier's trials and tributes

This was a highly fascinating read and definitely one of those books that you do not want to put down. As I read it on the subway during my morning commutes, I could not help but laugh at his comical sense. He is admired for his wit, talent, and determination to succeed during a time where others attempted to leash him.

Middle aged group specific targeted

Although I did find this book amusing, I felt that I could not relate to it because I am of a younger generation and have yet to fully pursue a job. This book is targeted at the middle class, middle aged, career switching, individuals as opposed to the young, savvy, gen X or gen Yers. However, it did make me realize how many individuals are really unemployed and having difficulties getting a job.
